The game only has 8 levels and a boss so I was worried that people would be able to steam roll the entire thing in less than five minutes if I didn't force them back to start. I didn't originally plan for it to be that way as I was going to do more levels but fantastic criticism :).

The void is just another plane with different platforms in it, so you can swap between them while jumping to make platforms and walls appear where there are none to progress. As in the third level when you swap into the void the platforms in the middle of the level change allowing you to time your jumps and make it safely across by switching each time after you press the jump button.
