I like the Japanese art style, it goes very well with the theme. The feel of the game is good, overall very good job. To point something, the levels aren't particularly interesting, but it's hard to make good platforming levels in a Game Jam with little time. Good job ^^

Thanks for nice words. I kinda agree on the intersting level design part but I can't quite put my finger on what's *really* missing. More thematic level design (blending flavour + mechanics)? Tighter controlls and platforming? A more intersting core mechanic + implementation (like crossing out words with the dash) ?
Playing it for the second time I would say that the design is fine, I am not a level designer either to say how it could be improved. But it will say that the game would feel better with an adjustable double jump(intead of 3), depending on how long you hold the key. That coupled with a shorter dash and a more polished walljump I think would make the game feel better and more responsive. But is difficult to say, jams are good chance to test and see other peoples opinions.
