on Wine specifically? probably not as it's an unreal engine game.

on Proton, then almost definitly yes.

What do you mean Wine specifically, Proton is based on Wine and there's plenty of UE games that run through Wine

like just wine without any modifications would be less performant then proton, and it might run idk I haven't tested it I'm just saying from my experiance it's far better to use proton rather then wine

Yeah, I suspect that you're not as competent as you're trying to project, you should probably consider being more humble when you don't really know for sure that what you're saying is true. In my humble opinion.

??? the   comment is that it doesn't run at all on linux, when it does, like I am 100% positive.

Wine might run with it fine I don't know I rarely use wine, but proton (which yes is built on wine but *isn't* wine by itself without any form of modifications) would most likely run worse/not get the same level of performance.

in my experiance wine has always ran poorly compared to proton.

also, if you don't know weather it'll run well or not try downloading it and testing it? even if it does run on wine on my pc perfectly fine that doesn't mean it will yourse either way.

and either way the point of my message is the ffact WindowsIsLame was saying it doesn't work on linux and how that's lame/stupid etc, in which case, it DOES work on linux, you'd expect if their going to be spouting that windows is lame and that everyone should use linux they'd at least know HOW TO USE LINUX but whatever.
