I liked the minimalism used for the characters (my interpretation was pink for pigs, black for cows, white for sheep, orange for foxes). The lighting effects made it feel like a herder trying to protect his animals during the night by a campfire.

Being able to perform friendly fire on your own animals added a bit of a challenge to the game, as you had to be more mindful when shooting. However, being placed in the centre of your animals at the start does seem slightly unfair as a mis-click will likely incur a friendly fire penalty.

It felt strange that the enemies were drawn to attacking the player, as being attacked didn't appear to have an immediate drawback. As the point is to protect the animals, drawing aggro felt useful. Sometimes, the player model will get sent to a random part of the screen when attacked enough times. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not.

The game crashes when the last animal is killed. Other than that, the game feels fairly well polished given the time constraints.

A minimalistic game about protecting your animals.

P.s. My final score was 48.
