I agree with you, but you also have to think about the people for whom $10 is too much money. That's why steam was interesting: it offered prices adapted to the country in which the player is based.

true, in thirld world country 10$ USD is considered hefty sums if we're talking like weekly basis. and due to prices are automatically "expensive" for them, most opted for pirating instead due to "why pay if i can get it for free" mentality. i found out the game by chance and im glad to be able to buy it long time ago. supporting in a monthly basis in patreon is too much for me as i am one of those thirld world country people but i hope my itch io purchase contributes even its a little bit

I agree with the steam adapted price, 10-12 dollar game is only 6-7 dollar when converted back again to usd
