I AM RATING THESE ALL THESE JAM SUBMISSIONS RELATIVE TO ONE ANOTHER. THERE ARE HIGH HIGHS AND LOW LOWS BUT PLEASE DON’T TAKE THIS TOO PERSONALLY, AFTERALL, WE ALL ONLY HAD A MONTH.

Story (2):

The story, after the rewind, feels too straight-to-the-point at times. I know there was the intent to make things more non-linear and make into more of a mystery where the choices actually matter but alas, time is finite resource when it comes to Jams. I was disappointed that we couldn’t interrogate both suspects and that the VN automatically went to the guilty one. There was a good set-up that fell flat. I’m imagining that if we prosecuted the dragon we would end up trying to exorcise an alien demon out a normal person but not believe him until it was too late.

Presentation (1):

Nothing much to say but I do wish that the sprites were shrunk down a bit so they weren’t clipping through the top of the screen.

Creativity (3):

The overall plot and concept is what keeps this from going any lower. I wasn’t expecting to have to press “Start” twice to be able to finish the VN.

Total (6):

It will be interesting to see what this story becomes when it is finished and polished up. Right now, like my submission, it’s obvious that we both took too big a bite for this Jam.
