I absolutely adore this game with all my heart, and it's truly a mystery to me why the concept isn't more popular. I haven't seen much activity from you guys, or maybe I just haven't looked hard enough. In any case, it inspired me to create my own game (feel free to check it out and let me know your thoughts!) I changed some mechanics, for example:
-Fights now are more intensive (in my opinion) and there's also a boss.
-Item characteristics are more balanced, making larger items with weird shapes have more value per slot ration.
-Also, you don't need to count this ratio yourself, just hover your mouse over any item.
-Items with unique mechanics like a key that doesn't give you any stats, but must be equipped to open a chest with a lock on it
-Events in the future don't take half of the screen, you can just look at the hall with your character to see what comes next
-Unique sound design, the campfire really does make you relax
-Custom settings for nerds once you complete some part of the game

In other words, if you liked Loot Keeper and want something similar, i bet you will like my game (just click on my profile, its called "Dungeon Of Loot", and yes, I'm not good at naming things)
