Honestly, the amount of horror games that are in this site that just put jumpscares in the game and call it horror is Stupidly High. Its always the classic "Plot" where you are at home, then you catch a glimpse of the Character (monster/demon, etc. depending on the game) thats trying to kill you through a window or when you walk out of your house and then ends with a cheap jumpscare. Besides, i really dont understand how a 3 minute game with a small scenario is 370mb. But.......since the game IS free, i guess i cant complain much, its not like another game i know that makes people pay 4 dollars for the worst game you could play (*cough* garten of banban 2 and 3 *cough*).

Summarizing: what most of the (free) horror games on this website lack is originality. (and they really to stop ending their games with a jumpscare)

Sorry for the long text, Lmao. I dont mean to offend the creator of the game or creators from other games with this comment.

Hello! I am definitely not offended by this comment. I even agree with some of the statements you've made in this text. But this game was made in 16 hours just for me to test myself and see what I can make in such a short time. The game is definitely not supposed to be taken seriously since it's a meme game about a McDonald's mascot made for the sole reason of giving someone a giggle, and it's not really meant to scare anybody. The cheap jumpscare at the end might give you a little sting, though. By the way, I have no idea why this game has such a large file size. I tried to lower it as much as I could, and I unfortunately couldn't lower it any more. Some model probably has a large texture size or something. My next game will definitely have better quality. Anyways, thanks for the criticism. It will definitely be taken into consideration.

Yo! thanks for replying. Sorry in advance for dumping my thoughts on your comment section lol. Originally, my text was just supposed to be my opinion on the game (ik nobody cares, but not the point) but the jumpscare on the end of the game just reminded me of all the junk i wrote in the previous comment and i kinda just vented about it. I totally understand that not all games were made with the intent to be taken seriously, and a bunch of them on here are made on a short time (mainly games from jams, which are really cool events) and i should've taken it into consideration. The thing I said about it not having originality still stands, but for a game made in 16 hours, its a good game if you're bored and want a good laugh (i did laugh when grimace first appeared, lmao). Something that really would make a game way better than it is, is adding any kind of mechanic (even if its one used in a lot of games) besides walking and opening doors, even if its just a silly object you can interact with (Im not sure what exemples to give, srry), but i can't say much about it because i have no idea how coding works, how difficult it could be to do something like that or how much you're experiencied with it.

Lastly, the reason i think ending a game (horror or not) with a jumpscare is not a good way to end it, is because a jumpscare is just an "easy" way to scare someone, by having the character jump on the player, (which most of the times doesn't have any care or work put on, (depending on the game) and something that makes it worse is how overused it is, making it predictible when it does happen.

Please do not take anything I said to the heart (in a bad way).

Excited to see your next work/game :)

Thanks for reading and take care!
