Before the WAR

this part is long. and i don't have many pictures. Sorry in advance. We will meet the leaders, resolves as many Quest as possile and rescue Flo from the Demon City. And that requires to beat both Dungeon. The idea is to get the second emblem BEFORE we start the camp Mission, the second chapter of the war. We alo want to solve as many Quest from Chet Parif and Meko as possible and upgrade our Sword to max level before we move on. This way we gain another very valueable "Important Save": Very early in the War, both Dungeons already beaten, flo rescued most Quest solved. If you want to play the Bull-Route in the future, with killing the Liard trio, you can do this from the new created "Important Save" after this chapter. Because this Chapter is so big, i cannot mention everything.

Time to meet Axel the biggest badass in the game and slay the Liazrd Spy for him. He is a little bit rude, but honest and straight to the point. Leave the Bull village to the South. Enter tomato Forest to find the Spy. If you only have got one option [Attack] that is fine. If there are two option, you messed up because you spoke to Nauxus and the femals Lizard before entering the Bull village. Reload an old save. By killing the Spy, without meeting Nauxus beforehand, you generate only one SUS-Point on Nauxus. If the hero would have meet Nauxus in the Swamp taking his Quest, we would always gain two SUS-Points.

Thane is sentenced to spend a day at the temple. Buy some Equipment. Ropes and Torches are very important, buy 2-3 of each ! You will also need 500 gold for the permit and the pickaxe after the temple visit.

You can also met Nauxus now but i prefer to explore the Temple now, Go to the temlpe and read ALL the books.

A yellow dart will appear and you can enter the secret room...You always need a torch to enter this room. Come back later once you aquired the second emblem from the Demon City Auction.

After the long Journey to the temple, we should meet Nauxus. After the festival and Nauxus declaration of War, the Hero can fight Rogue Lizards in the Dark Swamp / traitor Swamp. Do not pick the next Quest of the War just yet. If Selye or Axel ask you, save the game and rescpectfully decline. We want to rescure Flo and the Soul Emblem first!!

At Day 10 accompany Snow for a fishing trip. After that you will be able to find lake island.

Go to the Bull Road and "Find the way to the lake Island". Meet Ebb and agree to rescue Flo.

After the meeting with Ebb, explore the Waterfall area until you discover a way to the Dungeon.

Beat both Dungeon without leaving will be rewarded with 24 AP. Good luck! After the defeat of King Harold, there is a potential bug: Sometime the A-Exp exceed 100, without giving you another Adv-Point. Read a dairy or click the dungeon exit without leaving the dungeon until you recive the last AP.

A few Tipps:

- Don't lose to the Gargolyes, you need the Moos for the moos bracelet, one of the best items in the game!

- Have enough Torches, Ropes + HP and MP Potions fully stacked before you enter the Dungeon. You will also need a lot of Beer 12-20. Use beer to refill you MP after a fight. You are going to fight a lot of tough Ghosts! The prince-ghost can be beaten with normal attacks. We will also use beer in the Demon City.

- If you collected a lot of Sticks and Stone you can camp more often to mastubate and refill HP and MP at the same time.

- Collect all the three badge. Before you give anything to the jester, go back to the Shadow Figure that is gaurding the boat on the river and use the badge. Make sure to save and mine 2 pieces of Blood Metal Ore. Give the Jester Badge to the Jester.

- The fight against Bread can be quite tough with low CHA . Use flirt to capture him alive.

- Against King Harold you can either defeat him and get 1200 exp + the eatheral blade piece or the prince badge to gain an item. At the moment I simple don't know if any of this item may play an important role in the future. Both Options result in the some amount of Adventure Points.

for the Demon city, please read the Guide. I will just provide some Tipps:

- Save your game before you start the work week, and make another save while working.

- It's possbile to buy all items at the auction without giving any item to the pawnshop. i recommend around 400+ boerc.

- the trick: always work at the right place at the right time. Mine and Dumpstation in the morning, Libary and Bagging in the afternoon. In the evening we drink our beer until LUST is 100!! Then we visit the brothel and get hammerd. Watch your corruption though.

- Character with high END got more SP Points and sleep less often. Character with high AGI can make extrra money at the tavern in the late evening instead getting hammerd at the brothel every night. If you only care for the important items, you may choose a working path without gaining a lot of corruption.

- Strating strong at the auction sometime let you win an item without resistence. Save your game and try these numbers as your first bit:

1. Soulelixier: 20-30 boerc.

2. Lave Stone: 40-50 boerc. (Edit: Important later to upgrade Fire Enchantment to Level 2 !!)

3. Murphy Hand: 70-90 boerc. (Edit: Recieved a Buff. It is now very usefull against Bosses, because you only recieve +2 Corruption per Fight instead +1 per Attack. Also adds +3 DEF!!)

4. Soul Emblem: 100-120 boerc (VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!)

5. Flo: 100-140 boerc. (If you loose, it's game over.)

The important items are Flo, the Soul Emblem and maybe the Lava Stone. Don't leave the Demon City without them!!

Finally we got two emblems!! No we can make peace between both tribes later!

After the Demon city, speak with Flo, Ebb and Snow until they join the tavern. I recommend to collect the 20 Stones early to open the bathhouse early. It will help a lot in bossfights.

If your Hero is powerful enough we can attempt Hakan's alcohol Questline and beat the Tree Monster without the Goo-Armor to gain another 2 LvL Points. Say "NO way!!" to Chet. The fight is tough and gets much easier if you boost you HP in the bathhouse before the fight.

HP Potion are more or less useless / too weak. ~~Your Healing Spell "bind up" only works well enough with high END, DEF and INT.~~ With high AGI you can also try to savescum to victory.

(EDIT: Since the Overhaul of the Combat System, this fight has become even more difficult without Goo-Armor. You definitly need to visit the Bathhouse to double your HP. "Bind up" has become useless. Use your MP for Leaping Slash or Holy Fist instead. Try to deafeat him before your Lifepoints run out. If this is still not enough, return back later long after the war with improved Stats.)

I highly recommend to finish as many Quest as possible. Collect 10 ectoplasm for Meko, fullfil Chet's "New Item" Quest to buy the Ethereal Crytal Amulet, Upgrade your Weapon to maximum (+25 ATK) etc.....

And another thing: You don't need to spend all your LvL Points right now. You cannot improve your stats about 10 , so i like to save them and increase STR (or whatever your Hero's Mainstat may be) later.
