Did you check the install folder under the saves directory

I'm actually playing the steam version - i noticed something too that the launcher doesn't work, but i've been able to load launching just the game itself. could it be an error connected to not using the brigand external launcher?
OKAY! I launched the game through the launcher but not through steam, and save files are working. Incredibly excited to begin my brigand journey
