Hey, so I did the math, and on average, there has been one update every five months, making it two updates per year. Now, supposing the game finishes in version 1.0 (like OiAL), that means the game would be finished in 2025. Do you think that's an accurate prediction?

That's not how version numbers work, unfortunately. After 0.9 comes 0.10, then 0.11, and so on. OIALT's case was only a coincidence. Scroll down a bit, Caribdis said 7 days ago that there will be more than 10 major updates in total so it's prbly gonna take longer than your estimate, unless the project gains additional contributors.

A lot of people enjoy the game in an episodic way, each update is a new episode. Saves should be transferrable to newer versions, in the PC editions at least. I think I might enjoy it even more this way since I feel like I devoured OIALT a tad too fast. But not everyone likes the wait that's part of the experience, I get that. 💀
