It's a nice idea, but really hard to find the food.
I only came across the farmer one time in about 5 minutes of playing, and I couldn't find 10 food items in that time.
I think a minimap, or just a zoomed out view might help; this game would benefit I think from feeling more pressured like the farmer is actively trying to protect his crops.
Technically speaking, I encountered no bugs and everything ran very smoothly. Love the music!
