Fantastic entry. Original take on the theme, well-designed and polished look. The in-game tutorials are a great touch and explain the mechanics very well. The only downside with this concept is that it will get difficult very fast, and though I got better at calculating my steps backwards, I think there's just a limit to how well humans can remember/envision these things (or perhaps I just suck at it). If you were to develop this further, that is something to take into mind, at least. For a 48 hour game jam entry, however, I love what this brings. Max votes from me!

Hi there!!! First of all thank you so much for playing our game and your comment. We totally agree with your opinion about how human remember things, and we are trying to make the UI more helpful for help people remember those details - currently the move option decks on both sides seem to work at some extend but some may find it really hard to understand and notice. Thank you for your suggestion and we will definitely work harder on the interactions!

Thinking about it now, I wonder if it'd work to just show the chosen moves (with or without subsequent reversing moves) directly on the tiles (i.e. how they will play out) when you press down keys, instead of separately at the side. That shouldn't necessarily make it too easy, as the puzzle is figuring out the path, not how good you are at remembering your moves. If the memory-hurdle is reduced, you may even be able to ramp up the difficulty of the path-finding puzzles themselves. Just some thoughts, but it'd need testing. Hope you will continue working on the game, it has great potential.

HI!!! Yes, someone on the other comment also suggested us to drag and drop the directions directly to the tiles, and we are testing if this works - we don't want to make it too trivial for finding the path, because geometrically without the reverse item the solution could be very easy to found if you can visually see the route. And thank you for the encouragement, we will definitely keep working on this!!
