When there is good and bad news I always feel it pertinent to begin with the latter. The game was very unintuitive - even after reading the how to play section of the page and viewing the in game menu. Once I did figure out how to play the game progressed very similarly to any other puzzle match game, even with the addition of playing against an AI. Now the positives: excellent presentation, lovely art style that was warm and inviting, sound design was very thematic and on point, and if it wasn't for the aforementioned negatives I would have loved to play more of this game. I believe it is obvious that the overwhelming time constraint is what has hindered this project, and with further development and refinement this game could become something great. Shame that it wasn't there by submission, but the creator's should still be proud of what they have accomplished and I hope they lean into what they did well in any future projects.

Thanks for the feedback!

The game was very unintuitive

At its core, the game is a match-3 game where you are a tile that's trying to survive, but at the same time you're trying to get combos to increase your score. If you've got suggestions on how to phrase the instructions better let us know!

playing against an AI

I see the game more as playing with the AI, where you are trying to help the Ai (and yourself) get a higher score! :)
