This is really clever and well done. Like someone else below mentioned, I love how the interruptions feel really inconvenient. It gives a nice reflection of the experience of the character. I also thought the gameplay of the marking, while simple, was nice, and absorbing enough to make those interruptions seem noteworthy.

My only complaint is with the typing; maybe this was on purpose, but not being able to see what I need to type more than one word ahead somehow ended up being kind of annoying and difficult. Perhaps my brain just can't work in such little chunks at a time.

Heya, one of the devs here. Going word per word actually was a deliberate choice on our side: we wanted the Player to be typing one word at a time because it was one of our design goals to make answering feel awkward and uncomfortable.

I think it works better this way since you have this sort of stuttering dynamic when talking to the MC, as to show that you've got a crush and trying not to show it - you know, the classic slice-of-life tsundere thing :)

Glad you liked the game! <3

Ah, yeah; that makes a lot of sense! That's exactly how it felt!
