What a satisfying game! I really liked this one, it's in the top 3 games I've enjoyed this jam. Looking forward to seeing if there's further development here - I'd like the game to get challenging enough that I struggle to finish the level, I enjoy typing games. Thanks for the fun time :)

The game is so funny and interesting! The typing tasks are easy at first so I was a little confused about the mechanics, however, with the progress of the game, I found it challenging to flirt with this guy while handling my study!! It is so realistic that such situation happens a lot in high school! I hope I can type faster to win more time for study, and I always in a muddle when I try to write on my textbook to solve more problems! Great simulation, great mood! Five stars!

RPS Referee SimulatorThis is really clever and well done. Like someone else below mentioned, I love how the interruptions feel really inconvenient. It gives a nice reflection of the experience of the character. I also thought the gameplay of the marking, while simple, was nice, and absorbing enough to make those interruptions seem noteworthy.
My only complaint is with the typing; maybe this was on purpose, but not being able to see what I need to type more than one word ahead somehow ended up being kind of annoying and difficult. Perhaps my brain just can't work in such little chunks at a time.

RelinquishHeya, one of the devs here. Going word per word actually was a deliberate choice on our side: we wanted the Player to be typing one word at a time because it was one of our design goals to make answering feel awkward and uncomfortable.
I think it works better this way since you have this sort of stuttering dynamic when talking to the MC, as to show that you've got a crush and trying not to show it - you know, the classic slice-of-life tsundere thing :)

Saul Smart: Night GuardSensational idea, I love it! This was an absolute joy to play from start to finish. The studying minigame feels great, with the constant interruptions proving frustrating in the best possible way to get across how annoying the protagonist is being.
Sound design is really strong - the sound of the highlighter in use felt just right, and I love the talking - and the protagonist sprite appearing at increasingly bizarre angles with each new dialogue box kept making me laugh.
My final grade was C - I'll take it!

Switch With MeI really loved the concept of a "hating simulator", and the visuals are spot on. I just wish the gameplay was more based on dating simulators (like, you try to make yourself not to fall in love based on your reponses, or try to convince the protagonist not to like you), as the typing mechanic, at least for me, was a little annoying. I liked the concept of trying to study, tho, but being interrupted by the annoying male character. BTW, there were some moments when my character would have some sort of monologue and the screen would go black, idk if its supposed to be that way or if it's a bug. Anyway, good work

Baddest of them allHeya, one of the devs here. We decided not to go for a multi-choice answer mechanic because that's how the Player normally interacts with other characters in dating sims - tying the mechanic to the main character. Since we wanted the Player to impersonate an NPC instead, we doubled down on that by changing how interaction is structured as well :)
The gameplay bits with the black screen are indeed intended to be introspective sections, useful for adding breathing room in-between levels.

Almost Playable CharacterThe game's title is perfect! I really hate that guy, he's so annoying when he interrupts you while you're typing!
The game is truly enjoyable, and I had a great time playing it. The visuals are well-crafted, with really smooth transitions and the sound design is top-notch!
The only downside is the repetitiveness of the mini-games. Maybe shorter days or the addition of a third mini-game could have provided more variety. Apart from that, congratulations to the entire team!

You nearly had me at protagonist. Nearly fell in love. And again when that man approached me upside down like spiderman. Disappointed in myself 🤣
