The idea is nice but the first level is way too easy: You can just click on the thief and win without the thief moving at all. Unfortunately the second level does not work for me (nothing happens when clicking the button).

I like the intro screen with the little detail of the guard suddenly turning to the thief.

Thanks a lot for you feedbacks! I feel it still be unpolished but decided to submit eventually. And yeah, because of the time constraint, I will surely improve the game post-GameJame, probably with limited step player can take per turn, and hide the thief completely later. Make sure to check it again soon and give me more feedbacks.

Btw, I have voted your game, really cool one to be honest, and hope that it can gain more recognition!
