It's a fun card game with a unique twist! Though there is a learning curve, the game mechanics were well thought out.

It was confusing at first (you threw a lot of instructions out at the beginning) but after a couple of tries I was able to figure it out. It probably would have helped if there were an info icon I could click during gameplay so I could see the tutorial info again. Also, the game seems to have soft-locked at one point. Wasn't sure why though.
I was able to defeat stage 3, and I think you're awesome too!
Edit: Added a star. I award 2 stars for partial game mechanics; but yours was a full experience. 3 stars!

A card game is a fun idea! I think you were a bit loose with the theme. Still, the rules of how the cards worked were consistent enough for me to grasp, so that's a win. I think I wish I understood the two slots better at first. Also, it didn't make sense to me that I could choose who the demon played their card on.
Edit: Added 2 stars! I don't know what kind of tired or burned out I was when I first wrote this review, but it truly is a great idea. I love how you applied the theme, and brought together so many features! Is there room for improvement? Yes, but no need for me to be stingy. 4 stars!

Would have liked more music and/or sound effects. Visuals were pretty light, but what you had was smooth.
Edit: 'what you had was smooth'. SMH. By my own rubric, this should be 3 stars. Apologies for withholding a solid rating. I did feel like it suffered from lack of accessibility to the rules, which is why I keep it at 3, but you kept things alive with the element hints on screen.
