Thanks for the feedback! We definitely got a lot of comments about the orientation; while I admit I'm surprised, the two thoughts I have for possible future changes are letting the player choose what's most comfortable for them (could also help us transition to a mobile version) or just putting the controls right on-screen for a smoother experience!
Also, you encountered our bug which only happens if you beat the game on the first try, so nice work! We've got the fix for that already in our non-jam build, but unfortunately we missed it before we pushed :(
