It's kind of surprising that we haven't had that many branching Visual Novels, but this one is great.
As the author of Dance of the Inverted Heart, I was very surprised to see a game with a part of the title, but you definitely have my approval. Seija's written magnificently, and having her be the outsider interacting with different characters lends to a nice "advice" setup that feels different than others I've played. Fantastic job all around.
