Short but sweet. The art and music may not be original, but I think you’re using them well.
Believe it or not, I mostly skip fishing mini-games in other games, so I thought the space was influencing the other lane rather than the blue rectangle at first. It all sorted itself out in the end.
Since this experience is mostly about the story, I think the apparent randomness with just the minutest hint of skill and patience of the fishing itself is a good fit – it’s odd how such things can influence each other so much sometimes.
Given the ending, I’d have expected Frogbert to complain when trying to leave the village – but it just appears there is an invisible wall.
(Pet peeve: Other than the small dialog-continue button, the game is entirely keyboard playable … but you really need the mouse for that one interaction.)
