How does your game fit the theme?
You are called to go on your heroic journey in a starter town just like many games before it, only this time you never leave the town on your journey and just continue a peaceful life in your town.

Short but sweet. The art and music may not be original, but I think you’re using them well.
Believe it or not, I mostly skip fishing mini-games in other games, so I thought the space was influencing the other lane rather than the blue rectangle at first. It all sorted itself out in the end.
Since this experience is mostly about the story, I think the apparent randomness with just the minutest hint of skill and patience of the fishing itself is a good fit – it’s odd how such things can influence each other so much sometimes.
Given the ending, I’d have expected Frogbert to complain when trying to leave the village – but it just appears there is an invisible wall.
(Pet peeve: Other than the small dialog-continue button, the game is entirely keyboard playable … but you really need the mouse for that one interaction.)
Ha, that was a cute experience. I was playing it thinking "So wheres the role reversal" and was caught off guard when Frogbert chose to become a fisherman instead hahaha, got a good laugh out of me. good job!
cool cute game and its chill
Very cute game! It seems like a lot of time was spent on polish here, and it shows. I was a little confused in the beginning - I think that's because when the game told me to "press space to fish" or whatever I assumed I was waiting for the bait to drift over my bar and then press space, and I didn't know that I could move my bar. Later on in the game, I was annoyed by the fact that the bait could move suddenly in two directions - but I was only ever able to move my bar in one direction. You could probably solve both my problems by making the bar controlled by arrow keys, haha. I really liked the little dialogues as nice breaks from the fishing minigame - it would be cool if they were more spread out and rewarded me for fishing more.
"What if the hero's journey ended with the denial of the call?"
A funny concept for a game, and very cute.
My difficulty with the fishing definitely made me feel like a frog unprepared to become a hero!
Nice work. I like the presentation quite a bit. It took me a bit to understand the fishing mini game.
Really nice, cute, and charming! Nice one.
A very peaceful and relaxing game!
Very charming little game! I wish there was more areas to explore lol. Overall solid game, the fishing minigame was fun, good job!
playing this game was really relaxing, i really enjoyed it ! the art is amazing, the little town is colourful, well decorated. The fishing part was fun, at first i wasn't sure when to tap the space bar but when i figured out, i managed to catch some fishes ! :D great game !!
Very cute and cosy game! I like the fisherman frog vibes and a funny idea on role reversal. Fishing minigame was a little frustrating with how slow the blue bar moved. The first fish honestly took me a few minutes to get but I got very lucky on the rest. With that fixed up and some more town content i could see myself playing this for a while. Awesome job, enjoyed it!
This has a lot of potential! Would love to see it fully explored!
Great to see an attempt to make a story-rich game, also beautiful visuals! One minor nitpick I had was that player was able to move when talking and interrupting fishing, but still enjoyed the fishing minigame, nice to also see another game related to fishing minigames :)
Congrats on the submission!
Qite the relaxing experience, i love how he just decided to stay. The fishing was a bit dificult for me personally since the blue slider went down way too slow. Cool game, also frogbert is a good name.
Good Job!
Nice graphics
Love aesthetics, and was a funny "reverse role"
hehe frogs are my fav so I loved this :-) super cute n cozy
The game obviously does feel like it could be expanded, but the peaceful atmosphere of the town is great and the fishing minigame isn't bad. Good job overall, the presentation is great.
Frogs :)
