I tried a few times, but I can't get past the second obstacle (at the beginning of the game, under the word "shift" that explains how to dash), how do you do it? I tried jumping then dashing from the first bump, but it was way too short.

Also, it doesn't really feel like you "can't stop moving", but it looks like a nice game with cool graphics. Nice work!

You have an eight directional dash so you can dash upwards which acts as a double jump. There are 3 levels after the tutorial. In the levels after the tutorial there is a void that chases the player and if you stop moving it will catch up to you and the player will get captured by the void.

I tried again several times but no matter how many times I try, I can't get my fingers to synchronize enough to jump then dash diagonally 🙁  I feel like joypad controls would do wonders here. It seems like a really cool game concept though!
