What a game Carrot!!!!!!!!!!!

First and foremost, THE DANCE????? IT LOOKED SO GOOD?????? AAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!! Using linear movements on the background so skillfully should be forbidden, Carrot!!!! You're proving once again that your animation skills in Ren'Py are OUT-THERE (if everythiny you created hadn't already proven it somehow lmaooo).

The art was gorgeous!!!! The background looked wonderful and Orlam's different expressions were all expressive and engaging!! The way you separated all the parts of the sprites was really engaging!! You managed to create different emotions using so little!!! The magic of O2A2!!

The GUI too managed to look fancy yet subtle, it really was a refined one. And I loved the main menu screen and its variations!!

Now, blame my dense brain but I FAILED TO GET THE THREE ENDINGS!!!! Well, I did get them eventually, but to get ending 2 (which is the canon one moreover edfvgbrtegr) I had to cheat, extract your archive and read the code I am so bad at video games efbtrg'frfc (like, for Hiro's entry, it's only the third time I played the first dialogue that I understood what I was supposed to do).

For the story, it was very interesting to get a glimpse of what happened "behind the scenes" during Act 2, since Our Wonderland only puts us in Iggy's shoes! The exploration of Genzou and Orlam's dynamic was really interesting! (SPOILERS BELOW)

Like, I know all too well that, although Genzou is perfect for Iggy, he's nothing more than a trashcan when it comes to Orlam, really a horrible being dfrvgbtrd. And so seeing Orlam enjoy Genzou being submissive, seeing Orlam enjoy having power over his past bully... like, I get where he comes from, but it still feels so horrific, aaaah!!! You managed to create such a mood so successfully with that! How despaired he was in the ending 1, how cocky he was in the ending 2, with him asking if the tears were for him (and yet, it felt so desperate at the same time), THE PACING OF THE ANIMATION CONVEYED THAT PERFECTLY TOO??????

Another great game from you, but at this point, who's surprised? The work you did on it is tremendous (and I'm not even mentioning the WORKING ANDROID BUILD???) and you can be highly proud of it!! Surely an amazing game, a treat for both those who played Act 2 of OW and those who haven't yet (because of course everyone will run to it after having played this wonderful entry)!

I'M GLAD YOU LIKED THE MOVEMENT. It was the first thing I did to make sure I could do it and it would actually look ok (because if I couldn't then I would have to do something else LOL) It took a lot of finagling to get it to go with the music tho.

This was the first time I actually separated all the parts of the sprite tbh LOL normally I just save each complete sprite since my files are so tiny anyway, but with this one I felt like it could be easiest/give me the most options to separate everything, so it was quite new for me to do it this way LOL It admittedly felt slightly overwhelming at times thinking about how I wanted to manipulate every single part 🤣 I'm not sure I'd do it again except for another short game tbh... 💦

LOL OK YOU'RE THE SECOND ONE THAT'S SAID NOW THEY HAD TROUBLE GETTING THE "CANON" ONE ALKDJFLAKSD maybe I should have made it easier I REALLY WASN'T SURE. Then again it's the one where you have to actually be agreeable with him, which I guess is the hardest to do from a player perspective LMAO Maybe I'll tweak it in the future or add a hint or something... 🤔

I'm really glad you enjoyed the peek into Genzou's POV and the whole....... thing..... he and Orlam have going on GODDDDDD THEY PAIN ME SO MUCH FOR REAL. I am so angry at them and sad for them constantly 💦 I'm happy that a lot of those various emotions from the different endings could be felt so viscerally. I feel like with the POV style especially it would come across quite strong but also you never know when it's your game how people will react or it will be interpreted/felt alkdjfasd

LOL THE ANDROID BUILD WAS A LOT EASIER THIS TIME I didn't have nearly as much to change, it was mostly just tweaking the menus since I already had a basic idea of how to do things from last time 🤣

GUHHHH ANYWAY. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH READING THIS JUST MADE ME OVERWHELMED WITH FEELINGS. This is such a precious and lovely comment to me hhhhhhh..... Thank you always for all your support and comments and love for my games I shall weep. 😭💕

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

Anyways, here's how to get all three endings:

Ending 1: Be as uncooperative as possible. Defend Iggy, choose the snarky answers which are at Orlam's expense, etc. Seal your fate with an uninterrupted "fuck you" rant to Orlam.

Ending 2: Mix up your responses between submissive and self-deprecating as well as being uncooperative. DO NOT rant at Orlam if given the opportunity.

Ending 3: Be the sub to Orlam's dom. Capitulate to Orlam at every available opportunity, and be sure to snark at your own expense, never Orlam's. (This ending prevents you from ranting at Orlam.)
