Dev log 8

Back again with another dev log after a 1 week break. I have a shiton of stuff to share to you despite the break.

Progression

Despite going on holiday for a week I managed to get a lot done before and after the holiday. I have successfully completed the outside of the base which took a little bit of time as I had to focus on what the landscape will look like once the player encounters it for the first time. I put a lot of time and effort in creating the visuals for this layout as well as adding sound effects that would portray a sinister atmosphere outside . In this layout the player will have the option to go to outpost which will allow the player to interact with another character as well as have the option to explore the wintry abyss.

I have also successfully completed the outpost layout which gives the player the ability to interact with the character named Sage. Sage will help you explore the map as well as allow you to get to where you need to go in order for the story to progress (Yes I have done a whole lot).

The cool part is amount of places you can explore, as you can see the map offers an array of places that you can explore. From the dangers of Uter trailing to the creepy Kramer forest. You do not need to abide by the story, you can fully explore the locations for yourself.

Yes! A demo version of Antarctic is coming

A demo version of Antarctic will be coming. I will be releasing more information about the demo version as I make progress with the game. The full complete version of the game will come with a whole host of features compared to the demo however pricing has not been discussed yet, more information about pricing and the demo version will come soon.

What am I doing right now?

I am now gonna be creating the entire Antarctic world starting with the "Camlo area" which you can see in the map above. Each location in the map contributes to the story and yes the game has multiple endings that will be decided depending on the decisions you make. All I can say is that the one week holiday has only bumped my motivation up.
