Forever Beginnings: The chromatic rise in the piano sets a creepy tone. Then going into the Twilight Zone motif furthers this effect. That big growly bass gives it that universe distortion vibe.
Happy World?: The beginning definitely sounds like a happy arcade game. The time signature then gets thrown off and I think that’s where the question mark comes in.
Lament/Time Disease: This intro creates a really dark atmosphere, that the string solo just adds more to. The choral elements sound like they were taken straight out of a haunted house. The drum beat creates a sense of urgency and anxiety that works along with the haunting vocal-like synths to make a great battle theme. The unwinnable nature of the battle makes it all the scarier!
