Indeed the game did not leave enough time to the player to prepare at the difficulty, since the dev has made some adjustment and fix this problem of very annoying window, thanks for your feedback ^^
I just tried out the tweaked version: it's so much better! I made it to the end, but I still had to work for it, so I think the difficulty balance is much improved now too. Excellent job - it's very fun!
