The combination of synthwave and chiptune, everything feels fresh and unique! Syncopation Synthesis has some interesting chord changes, and incorporating the natural 7th in the melody (a cadence in harmonic minor?). I like how Echoes of Invention builds up near the end, just like Accidents Happen did, which is a perfect introductory piece, and Dance of Forgetfulness which (to me sounded like a 1 b2 (A to Bb?) has some cool playful melodies. Then Pendulum Variations which introduces the same arpeggio, and melody from Syncopation Synthesis, with a reverse effect, and gets more sinister and really fits in with the description of oscillating back and forth. And Remember To Reflect is a bop.
This is some really good stuff! I enjoyed listening to it... and um please excuse my messy descriptions I was just stating my thought processes.
I also read the story, and was imagining how the puzzles would look like. Coming up with such an interesting plot isn't an easy task. Good job!~~

It's a raised seventh not natural, but yes it is a cadence in harmonic minor.

Yep, there's A to Bb somewhere at the start, added it for a little spice. Good catch.
