I figured it wouldn't have anything added to it, so didn't try it. Feels a bit weird playing a game that isn't going to get touched again.

I understand your point but the decision of developing a whole game is now more up to the community than ourselves. Male Doll will complete 5 years in January and my team and I still want to make more projects based on gameplay that aren't visual novels - like Pact of the Ancients, Boyfriend's Rescue, and our old JRPGs. This category will allow us to test our new ideas without having to commit to delivering something that may not have huge community support. And if people like our prototypes, send us feedback, comments, etc., we'll have an answer if we can move forward with them or not. Unfortunately making a game is expensive and we need money to survive, so I need to find a way to reduce the risks of making projects that we deeply want to make.

Sorry. I didn't mean to imply I was annoyed or anything. It was just slight disappointment. I know, personally, how hard game dev is. And finishing projects. :P

No worries! I just took the opportunity of your comment to explain to everyone who might have the same thought as yours. We really want to make unique games for the community and we are trying different approaches to be able to make a unique game that also pays its development. <3

I'm aware that 'My nephew's husband and his friends' is a novel (and we want to make other types of game) but I made it visible again to announce the category and prepare people for what is coming.
