Note:
If the macros didn’t start (execute) correctly, you should restart Microsoft Excel and select “Enable Content” (as in image below).

Actually, for newer versions like Excel 2021 you even have to first open Properties of the file in File Explorer and additionally to what you wrote, also give it access permissions there, too!
