Pretty fun game! I think you can work on controls a little more. For Input Mapping try "X/C" keys on keyboard and you can add moving while jumping, you probably made it intentional to balance the game but I think instead of sacrificing the game feel, you can make the level design harder.
thx for your comment. Yes that is the way it is meant to be. I wanted to create a challenging and unique mechanic. Sure, the controls are a bit clunky and the various parameters are not perfectly aligned with the level design. But there's one thing you definitely shouldn't be able to do in the game and that's move around in mid-air ;)
