I can definitely see the ideas presented, but none of these are particularly engaging as I mostly played the game as platformer.
The attacks weren't helpful because of the lack of range, and the instinct kill pits makes health, and by extension the health regen irrelevant.
Though I will say that the green gem hiding behind one of the ice cream is an excellent design choice. The game works and has potential, the problem is that it has a lot of fluff.
