Enemies have a state that is simpler to understand and control and another where they refuse to be commanded but cannot prevent the player from doing so. It is possible to study this behavior, which makes it easier to pass the levels, but it is not mandatory and the player will depend a little on luck. I think it feels like I'm dealing with an alien mind and that's what I tried to reproduce in the game.
