Here's the thing though. You say it's very common, but in these past 2 years I've been using this phone and Itch io, the built-in scan (that's showed in the screenshot) has always worked properly. It never gave a false positive, hardly even get any positives to begin with! I wouldn't exactly say it's a common occurrence, otherwise I'd have dismissed it as easily as you. The fact that it's rare to happen is what's bugging me, and as I said, previous versions of Eternum (or even Once Upon a Time, another game by Caribdis) never triggered a positive. I'm sorry for being cautious but it seems like a serious issue that should be looked upon. I'm not saying Caribdis is intentionally trying to screw us over, but some part of the code for the 0.6 version is triggering this and probably will keep doing it in the future, so if there's any moment to try and fix it, that be now before the code develops further and it becomes way messier

I think you mean "Once in a Lifetime".

False positives on Ren'Py are common enough that I've seen dozens of people reporting them on different games. You only think it's rare because you have a very small sample size, yourself.

But hey, if you really think your antivirus app actually analyzes code, maybe you deserve to miss out on this awesome game.

I mean, look at the screenshot. Eternum isn't 53.8 MB, it's a 100 times bigger. There's three possible reasons for this:

- You downloaded something else from a different site.

- Your antivirus app is a scam.

- You're an incompetent troll who can't even fake a screenshot.

First of all, whatever the name is, I played it a long while ago, but you understood which I was referring to so there was no need for correction there, unless you're a self-righteous perfectionist that won't accept any opinion even it was 99% precise, just because of the 1% missing

Second, I don't think "dozens" among thousands of people constitutes as a big sample size either. But nonetheless, just because it happened to them in other games doesn't mean I can compare their cases to mine, since 1)they'll be using a different antivirus probably, 2) it probably happened in different games, and 3)they most definitely don't have the exact same phone model and the same IOs version that I do, hence why I can only figure this out by looking at my own previous history of usage and not someone else's. If we assume this is a problem with my phone and not the app, of course.

Third, I never said my antivirus read any code. I reached a conclusion on my own that it must be something to do with the code of the sixth iteration of a game I've been following since almost release. Saying that just because I'm being cautious and trying to play the game safely, I don't "deserve" to enjoy the game, I think that's a bit harsh, bordering on zealousness. Maybe reflect a bit on your empathy skills, my friend, they seem to be a bit lacking

Fourth, 53.8 M is the size of the installer. If you download the 2GB uncompressed version, you'll find the instructions for installation, the small installer, and a much bigger file that is supposed to be replaced in the installation folder. This, by the way, is a completely new form of installer for android, since 0.5 was a normal APK. I was going to hypothesize that maybe this has to do with the "false positive", but since you're going to dismiss me as a troll, or going to say that the built-in-anti-virus that came with the phone, is part of the system apps and has worked up until now, is apparently a "scam" (as if I bought it somewhere, which I already said I did not), then just move along and keep never trusting any antiviruses ever. May you or anyone close to you ever get affected by one, as it has happened to me in the past, perhaps you'll have a change of heart, and THEN we'll be able to talk like civilized people.

PD: if I downloaded something else from another site, would it make sense that I come here to comment on it? Instead of just commenting on the same site or just trying a different one for simplicity? Give that a thought, at least. I don't really need to prove anything to you, since Caribdis can just check if I downloaded from this site or not, but as zi said before, you really ought to meditate more on the things you want to say, if you want to make any sense. So far you only sounded like "Chin Chong you're wrong, I'm going to suck on Caribdis' huge dong"

Well, you should know best about being self-absorbed and unable to admit your fault.  So far you only sound like "Ding-Dong, you're wrong, I'll suck my antivirus scam app's schlong."

Just delete the game. Nobody's forcing you to play it, and you frankly don't deserve it.
