thanks for paying attention to my case :3 i tried to start the game from scratch, but everything again stops at the moment of the tutorial when you need to buy a flower
Thanks for bringing it up to us. I’m a bit stumped, but a couple questions for you, if you don’t mind:
- Does this happen if you skip the tutorial in the plant store?
- Does this happen if you go directly to the art store to buy something?
- Does this happen if you play the game directly in the browser from the itch site?
- Do you happen to be using something aside from a traditional mouse, or have does anything that remaps the left and right mouse buttons?
Thanks for any info you can provide!
1. I skipped tutorials, but it still happened
2. It still happens
3. Due to the peculiarities of my pc, the game in my browser is lagging hard, (I have this with all browser games on itch) but I still tried to do it, and I succeeded. I calmly bought things, but of course it's very difficult to play like that
4. I play with a regular mouse, but I tried to play with a pen from my graphics tablet and laptop touchpad, but nothing has changed
yes, I can easily interact with the flower, water, feed, open the menu with information, drag and drop, rename, and so on.
*While re-checking, I noticed another funny thing, that in my new save for tests where I missed the tutorial, and immediately went to the store without unpacking the flower. and then on exiting, the box just disappeared so the room was empty, i don't know if it's a bug, but maybe this observation will be useful too :>
Petri - hello - it has been a few days and even though we don’t have an exact fix, we feel that it has something to with multiple input devices. We were able to reproduce the clicking problem on a machine with a tablet. We remembered that you also had a tablet attached. Unplugging the table from our machine resolved our immediate issue - running the game after this was fine. We plugged that tablet back in and the game continued to work. This is not a long-term solution, for sure, but I am curious of this would work on your machine as well. Thanks!
