This game is so beautiful. I enjoyed it a lot!! everything fits with the theme, the voice the effects the models and the gameplay. I had fun playing it!

The game is perfect for the jam duration! but I'll just give a few suggestions on what to add 😁if you plan to make a full game on it:

1- I think it was easy 😂 maybe add like a boss fight

2- Maybe each level the character will have an extra ability

3- Maybe some parts of the memory are going to be NPC that you can talk to or that help you along the way

Also, I noticed the cursor is not locked to game screen, I was playing it on 2 screens sometimes I would accidently click on the desktop.

overall a great game!

Thanks so much for the comments :D To answer your comments:

1 - Yes, a little too easy. We made it like that for now because once you die, you die. You don't respawn at the level you reached so, we found it would be too punishing if it were too hard. But we could make it harder and then have the player respawn at the level they reached :)

2 - Each level does provide an extra ability :D Or do you mean on top of the ones already provided, like 2 abilities per level? The abilities are detailed in the Memory Fragment box, and we could polish in the future by adding UI pop-ups after too :)

3 - Yes, NPC interactions were on of our first concepts but there was no time with this level of polish. Absolutely think it could be a very cool addition, we've got it in our notes already :D

Ahh, thanks for the comment on the cursor. Will add that! Thanks :)

Wow I didn't notice that. I would listen to the story of the speaker without actually reading the prompt. I won the game without noticing the ability 🙃

yep adding UI pop-ups would be great or instead of the button "activate" have the "key and ability", or have the speaker say it, just like when they introduced the monster in the beginning. But I think it's just my carelessness If someone reads out loud, I usually don't read with them I just listen, after that I click the first button I see.
