tbh i don't get it why everyone's so excited about scorpion engine games.. they're not really an imorovement (unless you have unupgraded original hardware) and most of them don't even let you play without a joystick..
Yeah, the unofficial release on scorpion is so much better. Better framerate and more polished. But I agree that you should write your custom engine so you can innovate.
