I'm going to do something insane and post feedback on my own art. So if anybody has any ideas on how to improve on these things / has opinions on how accurate it is, let me know.


  • background textures are too noisy and hard on the eyes. I need to figure out how to make good looking sprites for things like wood and stone that don't look way too noisy.
  • need to learn how to do lighting that isn't just "top left is brighter and bottom right is darker".
  • colors, how do they work? I think the artstyle I'm going for (muh SNES) needs more colors to make background sprites look good and less jarring. For example the water could use with some more colors.
