Understandable. also s I couldn't find the cause I couldn't fix it. But I did change the Third Tail skill again, so if that was the cause of it, it would been fixed now probaly.
Unlikly sicne if the engine just crashes there would be no crash report screen.
It's a skill you get gifted on normal and easy mode after the turorial but not on hard. So you can get it here. So yeah the sttue is hard exclusive. Also taht flickering should be fixed with enxt patch as well.
