that's prolly not it then since I'm pretty sure the only thing in game that saves on its own and ignores your new choices is the nameless.... has this happened before at any other quests or is it just with Scar and the murcads?
since it's just this quest I think it's fine. you shouldn't have any later scenes where he says stuff about you being lewd, I think this is just that quest has a weird bug. unless something says "lewd fame increased" this shouldn't do anything bad.
