Is this page abandoned? 🤔

Because here is version 0.4.2 whereas it is currently 1.14 elsewhere, Itch version is VERY outdated!

It might be, but the game is nearly complete. Philly is working on the final chapter. Maybe he'll have the whole thing up here when that's done. I know for sure it'll be on Steam and he's going to GOG with both parts too.

Both parts? What do you mean? 🤔

And I hope you're right and that he didn't abandon Itch. 😟

COBD has been split into Book One and Two. Book One is on Steam. Book Two will come out when the game is done, so probably by the end of the year. Both will be on Steam and hopefully GOG as well. I dunno about itch, I hope he hasn't completely abandoned it, but I dunno. Philly is a cool guy, I've spoken to him several times in the discord.

Since when? I have City of Broken Dreamers 1.14 and it is the whole thing in a single file. 😲

I think I will not enjoy the end of the story because even though I have been developing intimate relationships with every girl that I like, there have already been signs that it will turn monogamous in the end, which I dislike because what's the point of making us grow intimate with everyone only to take away everyone but one in the end?

Hey, since you are in contact with Philly, do you mind asking him about my forced monogamy's concern and about Itch as well?

Check steam. It's marked as Book One. So the next part of the game will be Book Two. To talk to Philly just support the Patreon and you get access into their server. Then you can ask him about all that.

Lol. Steam is the LAST place that you should look for this game. Philly has abandoned the version on that platform. It gets no updates, and when people BEG him to speak to them about his plans, he outright ignores them.

I don't blame him for ignoring and abandoning Steam, after all they take 30% off the top. But if you want access to the latest versions of this game, Patreon is the place to simp.

Personally I just can't waste my time with devs that refuse to engage with their customers wherever they spend their money. There are too many games out there to be worried about stroking the fragile ego of a  mediocre writer.

I don't think this is his mentality at all. He's on the last chapter. It'll be coming to Steam, GOG and more than likely here too when it's ready. Book One was just the first few chapters of the game. The next ones will be delivered as Book Two. No one has abandoned anyhing, lol. He's just trying to finish the game first and then release.
