Nice work -- this game absolutely makes you want to make some tea. I liked your concept of the tea preparation, which I really wanted to do well in. I tried several approaches -- (1) just using one ingredient that had the requested flavor, (2) using the requested flavor and a few others I thought might go well, (3) just throwing a bunch of stuff in to get +points for my timing -- and then tried to get the temp right when the timer ran out...and I always got a bad review, haha. I'm hoping that you designed the game to give positive results to those who can actually blend teas well (which I can't), and that this game just exposed me as the tea fraud I am. A 'retry' option or practice area would have been nice -- after one complete play of the game, I restarted several times and zoomed through the text to try to get my tea right. Nice work on this!

Thanks a lot for the detailed and kind feedback, it's really appreciated!
I think you're right: with only one attempt, the tea mini-game might be a bit unfair. We will definitely consider a "retry" option, or maybe let the difficulty increase gradually. At the moment, you obtain a good review if you manage to get at least 10 points; we though it was a good threshold, but in fact we had no playtesters to confirm that! I'm sorry that you had to be the one, but I hope at least that it didn't spoil the game experience!
Also, the "practice area" (a sort of endless tea-blending sandbox) is a great idea! Maybe in the future we'll add it, who knows :)
Thanks again for your precious comment, we're glad you liked the game! ^^
I'm the kind of person who can't let it go, so I came back to play again, armed with the 10-point knowledge. But once I got to the first tea scene I discovered that the instructions already told me exactly how the game worked, so you were very patient with me in your reply to my comment, thank you! It took me two or three tries, and I had to refine my technique to put two ingredients in at a time, but I finally did it -- the mayor liked it :). Great job on this!
