Can you try following these steps for XBVR and report back on which step isn't working?

1. Download xbvr from here (make sure to select the correct one for your computer): https://github.com/xbapps/xbvr/releases

2. Run xbvr on your computer.

3. Launch your computer's web browser. Type in http://127.0.0.1:9999 to access the xbvr UI.

4. Go to xbvr options and add your folders with your videos.

5. Go to scrapers and add the sites that your videos came from.

6. After the scrapers finish running, go to files. Your videos and scripts should show up under matched. If they don't, go to unmatched, and then click on the match button, and select the correct scene for both your video and script.

7. Go back to xbvr options. Click on players. Make a note of the xbvr IP address, which probably starts with http://192. If you want to add the ability to delete files and sync data from HereSphere, click on the Heresphere tab, and then enable the corresponding toggles.

8. Launch HereSphere, go to the web browser, input the xbvr IP address from step 7. Press the web api button that looks like a play button on 4 tiles to the left of the input box.

9. Once the HereSphere web UI loads, click on a thumbnail to play the video. If you couldn't match some videos, click on the "unmatched" button near the top of the HereSphere web view UI.

SMB can be pretty finnicky, especially on newer macs, so I recommend going the XBVR route.

Reporting back!  I was able to get to Step 8.

I launched Heresphere and selected Web Browser... to input the  XBVR IP addresses found under Shared Player Options. I typed in the addresses and clicked on the icon with 4 tiles and a play button. I waited for about 1-2 mins while Heresphere was Searching for Web Stream API; then I got a Webpage not available page in the browser.

When inputing the URL beginning with http://127... The webpage could not be loaded because: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.

When inputing the 2 URL's beginning with http://192... The webpage could not be loaded because: net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

I restarted my Mac and Quest 3 and tried again. Still getting the same result

First, make sure you press enter after inputting the XBVR web address, and see if the XBVR webpage loads. If it doesn't, try restarting your router (unplug the power for 10 seconds, then plug it back in), Mac, and Quest 3. Make sure the XBVR app is running on your Mac (the terminal should be open). Then try accessing the xbvr webpage from your smartphone (or any device that isn't your Mac). If it's able to connect, try using the HereSphere web browser again. Use the url's that begin with 192 as well (make sure to include http:// in the url, not https).
