For the only math I found, I wrote a little program on my HP11c/HP41cx. You enter the base price of a material, press ENTER and then type in the total sum of percentage modification. "PRG A" gives you the rounded up result of the total value of your product. Example: 7, ENTER, 60, LBL A. Output: 12

They used a HP41 as a manual board computer in the space shuttle. Very authentic experience :)

ohoho yes! That calculator would immerse me so hard. I wonder if some kind of mathematic paper aid might speed things up a little... Not sure what that would look like.

In doing some testing with things, I think the slowest parts for me are the sheer amount of data to generate; so many tables and so many goods to update before actually making any gameplay decisions. When I'm making decisions, I'm having a blast.
