Is WIN.rar the only way to download the game?

I guess it is. Is there some other format you would prefer?

One that I dont have to pay £30 for would be favourite.I`m not fussy but when I pay for a game I would rather it went to the person creating it rather than a side business who has no links to it.

You don't have to pay for winrar? At least I never did. I'll make sure to include a ZIP with the next upload though for people who prefer that.

WinRAR is technically trialware, but it's a noted example of unlimited trialware -- its functionality is unchanged after the trial period ends. So... technically you aren't supposed to use it after the trial period ends, but everyone ignores that.

Sadly it doesnt seem to allow me to use it after the trial ended, but maybe I did something wrong.I will look into it.

That's odd. All I need to do is close the window that says your trial has ended. Though, I have noticed occasionally that if I click too fast and try to use a function (like virus scan or extract) immediately after closing the notice window, WinRAR just crashes. But you can just re-open it.

zip is standard

Just use 7zip. It's free, nearly 30 years old, open-source and regularly updated. I haven't met many compressed files or archives it can't open (including .rar).

There's a zip available now, or you can play it in the browser.
