I like the direction you were taking this game. I think the concept of not having anything real that could harm you and your imagination is what you're really afraid of in the dark. There were a few things that I did struggle with.
Some Notes:
- The start menu was pretty difficult to get going.
- You may also want to consider making something like the flashlight to be 'sticky' when you pick it up so the player doesn't have to constantly hold down the button.
- Full body rigs are great, but I don't know if implementing one was entirely needed for this experience.
- Leaving players with accessibility options such as smooth vs snap turn can help a ton.
Overall, I think this game has a good foundation. The audio design and setting were definitely creepy.
