If by incredible pace you mean incredibly slow, then sure.
Don't listen to them. It is your Game. Your choice. They want you to change your work to suit their wants. If they want a sex simulator they can go find one somewhere else. You make the game to your likes and it will be perfectly fine. Personally i love the game as it is and i am excited for the next releases!
