Man, the combination of random generation and the choice of upgrade equals infinite replayability :) I've spent like hour playing it (but still haven't got past room 5, seems like I'm not that cunning).
I have one improvement idea: the player's strength and block numbers are only shown when you hover player figure doing the turn; perhaps you should consider displaying this infos on top of player or something - there's plenty free space on the screen.
Anyway, great job, I like it a lot!
