It looks like the restart menu doesn't work (it shows just a black-semi-transparent rectangle without any options), so failing to complete a level requires restarting the entire game, but overall I like the idea & art (touch monkey touch monkey)!

Super weird. I'm also using firefox, but have no way to test it on osx (should not differ though .-.)."R" key should work anyway, regardless of the visibility of the message.
