Notes from gameplay:
- Fun loading animation, cute art style, but I'm wondering if I'm missing audio here?
- Love the art for the game selection screen, gives a fun party vibe combined with the sketchy text
Playing fight him:
-- music is exciting
-- love the detail of using your own arm to hit
-- Attack animation doesn't seem to match with where the zombie head is, doesn't seem like it's hitting. Some feedback here to indicate a hit would be nice, like a sound or flashing color or animation
-- Minigame itself seems very easy, just walk forwards and spam left click
Playing Mix It:
-- Visuals on bottom seem to be cropped and go off the bottom of the screen
-- Text here is fun and fits the theme of the game well
-- Would be nice to have a few more types which randomize each time you play
-- Nice job showing the items being added
-- The finished products look great!
Playing Dance it:
-- Cute little skeleton rave!
-- Clear visuals of what to do - the line + the descending hands + guitar hero makes it easy to figure out (once I read your comment about controls)
-- Nice audio feedback with the drum when you land the right move
-- No penalty to hitting buttons incorrectly, so you can spam all of them at once to win
-- No way to give up or quit?
-- Alt-tabbing to another screen/tab makes you instantly end the game
Overall, this was a great execution of thematic minigames. Loved the vibe the art and music gave and looks like you practiced some useful skills for future game development!
